High Point Market Recap-Spring ‘25

Spring is in the air, which means our bi-annual trip to High Point Market is upon us! We always love taking the short trip to High Point, North Carolina from Charlotte to see what’s new and exciting in the world of interiors and we were not disappointed this time around! Market is the place to be when it comes to all things interiors including furniture, lighting, rugs, art, and more. It’s an exclusively to-the-trade event, and it feels like one big party! What’s most important is that we are able to see and touch the product that we source for our client projects which is key in ensuring we love every item that we propose.

We saw lots of new release items as well as existing styles we love, but in fresh color ways and new fabrics. Some common design themes we saw at markets were lots of color in everything from mirrors to upholstery, scalloped details, textured light fixtures, the return of medicine cabinets and plenty of play on patterns.

Enjoy our recap of some of our favorite trends! We hope it leaves you feeling inspired and excited to try something new in your own home. If you want to see more from this season’s trip, check out our market recap reel and stories on Instagram.

COLOR

Color us thrilled because there was so much color at spring market! From bold sofas to vibrant light fixtures, there was a celebration of color in almost every showroom we visited.

This velvet salmon sofa was so fun, and also very comfy!

We are very into muted corals and oranges right now, so seeing these hexagon ottomans left us feeling inspired.

Just a few of the many colorful table lamp options - a color for any space!

SCALLOPED DESIGNS

Scalloped designs have been a popular trend at recent markets, but this time they truly took center stage in all their forms and sizes. From charming accents like vanity mirrors to larger pieces like cabinetry, scallops can be incorporated to any element in a design.

Light blue + scalloped details = bathroom vanity perfection. This would be charming in a little girl’s bathroom.

Such a great mirror option and we love how the scallops are not as feminine on this piece.

Scalloped edges on a rug? Yes, please!

TEXTURED LIGHTING

Lighting, but stepped up a notch! We couldn’t help but notice the incredible textures featured in every lighting option, from table lamps to chandeliers. The three-dimensional element adds another layer of interest and we can’t wait to incorporate some of these pieces in our projects.

This herringbone table lamp is the perfect example of how to add interest to a neutral.

A hint of texture on the arm of these sconces goes a long way.

Between the beaded texture, and the level of craftsmanship needed to create this pieces, these pendant lights were one of our favorite new lighting finds at market!

MEDICINE CABINETS

Medicine cabinets are making a come back, and we’re here for it! We saw some beautiful options, made to look like decorative mirrors. This is a great option for smaller spaces as they can be recessed into the wall to provide additional storage.

Beauty + function with this natural wood option.

The antiqued brass medicine cabinet on the bottom left would elevate any bathroom space.

PATTERNED DESIGNS

As popular as color was this year, so were patterns - especially bold, colorful ones. Stripes, florals, chevron, plaid, geometric…you name it, we saw it all! Patterns aren’t only for accent pillows and accessories- they’re making their way onto furniture and lighting fixtures, too!

Being a stripe lover, the pattern and color combination on this swivel was a major win!

Such a bold & groovy upholstered card table!

Say hello to all the new patterned lamp shads this showroom had to offer!
