High Point Market Recap - Fall ‘25

Fall is in the air and so is a bi-annual trip to High Point Market! I am always excited when the end of October comes around because that is when I make the short journey to High Point, North Carolina to attend market and see what is new, exciting and trending in the world of interiors. For anyone unfamiliar with High Point Market and why it’s so important to attend - it’s the biggest bi-annual, to-the-trade event for all things interiors, including vendors specializing in furniture, lighting, rugs, case goods, artwork and more. We are able to see and touch product that we source for our client projects which is key in ensuring we love every item we propose.

This trip, I had a special design assistant with me - my husband, Brian. He was the official sit tester and took his role very seriously. Brian tested countless sofas, chairs, and his favorite, recliners. It was helpful to get a man’s perspective on what’s comfortable, and I have to say, we were mostly on the same page. In addition to sourcing product, I also attended a few insightful seminars that left me feeling refreshed and inspired.

As for for some common themes… green is in, and brown is back! These earthy tones were everywhere this market, from upholstery and case goods to mirrors and lighting. Speaking of lighting, there were so many fun and funky options, especially when it came to shades. Woven wicker pieces are still going strong (and have me dreaming of designing a beach house — any takers? 😉). And for those who love to entertain, game tables were one of the hottest items of the season.

Enjoy a recap of some of my favorite finds - let us know what you love best!

Green Is In

We’ve always been big fans of green, but this season’s market proved we’re not alone! From table lamps and nightstands to sofas and consoles, green was everywhere - and we’re here for it. It’s the perfect way to add color while still feeling neutral and timeless.

We love a good stripe and this green stripped sofa was a favorite find.

Not only was the color fantastic, but we really liked the wide lamp base.

This green lacquered console table would be perfect in a small foyer.

We’re always doing sit tests to ensure the upholstery is as comfortable as it is pretty!

Brown is Back

Brown is having a moment again! We couldn’t get enough of the rich, deep-stained furniture pieces showcased throughout market.

Loved the shape of this reeded sideboard.

This vanity would look so rich in a bathroom. Don’t you love the marble shelf?!

A petite chair perfect for smaller spaces in a mushroom brown velvet.

Statement Light Fixtures

Lighting is one of our favorite ways to add personality to a space! We saw many fixtures at market that were full of character, with pleated fabrics, playful patterns, and pops of color.

We were obsessed with this take on a scalloped lamp shade. Plus the color - green!

Fabric shades on pendants - so charming!

This wooden chandelier was a standout for us.

Timeless, pleated lamp shades.

Woven/Wicker

Even though it was the fall market, we were really shopping for spring! Much like fashion week, the interior design world works a season ahead, showcasing what’s next in style. This time around, woven and wicker pieces were everywhere and we couldn’t help but dream up a breezy beach house to fill with them. From furniture and mirrors to bar carts and lounge chairs, these textures have us completely inspired.

Loved the modern take on this wicker chair.

This soft blue bar cart needs a cocktail and a beach breeze ASAP!

We can see this in a powder bathroom, can you?

Love the woven design on these dining chairs!

Game Tables

It’s all fun and games at market - game tables, that is! With so many chic, game-forward pieces on display, it’s clear that entertaining at home is having a major moment.

Scalloped table + patterned chairs = such a fun set up for Mahjong nights with the girls.

Love the hexagon shape of the table and base.

A different kind of game table - Brian is ready to redecorate our bonus room! :)
